Crypto exchanges and trading services charge trading fees whenever you’re buying, selling, or exchanging digital currencies on their platforms. Depending upon your trading or investing frequency, these trading fees start adding up over time.
When we start trading cryptos, we don’t factor in the cost of trading fees, but if you are becoming a serious trader/investor, you should definitely pay attention to the fees you are paying. By minimizing the cost of your crypto trading fees, you could grow your portfolio to a great extent. Especially, as the automated trading concept is becoming more popular, and people like you who are learning about grid bot trading, the fees could make or break your final return by a significant percentage.
There are often crypto exchanges that offer Zero or near Zero trading fees. Today I’m sharing about such crypto platforms which are currently offering Zero or near Zero crypto trading fees.
Note: A lot of these exchanges offer Zero trading fees as promotion and such promos may last for weeks or months. As a trader or investor, you should take advantage of these promos to save a significant amount of money by cutting down your trading fees cost.
Zero Fees Crypto Trading Exchanges –
1. Deribit – Free Spot Trading
- Status – Live from 24th April 2023
- Supported Pair: BTC/USDC, ETH/USDC, and ETH/BTC
Deribit is popularly known by derivative crypto traders, and it has been around for many years. This crypto trading platform is based out of Panama City, Panama, and after being successful as a derivative crypto platform, now they are starting to offer spot trading as well.
As per the latest intel, Deribit will offer free crypto trading on some of the popular crypto pairs for both makers and takers. At the time of writing, Deribit will support free trading for the following pairs:
- ETH/BTC
- BTC/USDC
- ETH/USDC
Before Deribit, it was Bybit which started as a derivative crypto trading platform and slowly started offering spot trading catering to the diverse needs of traders in the digital asset space. Now, it is one of the top Binance alternatives. It seems like Deribit is taking a cue from Bybit’s success, and using the same strategy to attract audiences who are interested in spot trading.
Along with spot trading, you will be able to enjoy Futures and options trading on Deribit. Like other popular crypto exchanges, they do offer a mobile app for Android and iOS, supported by popular crypto trading terminals, and other features you expect from an institutional-grade exchange.
However, dealing with spot trading means, dealing with more customer queries. It will be interesting to see how Deribit handles the new user’s demands and queries, and if they will be able to maintain the same quality of service or not.
There is no update on how long this zero-fee trading will be live. For now, enjoy Zero fees crypto trading on the Deribit platform.
2. WOO X Exchange – No Fees Spot and Futures Trading
- Status – Live
- Supported Pairs – 90 Spot Markets and 71 Futures market pairs
WOO X is a relatively less-known name than popular exchanges, and it is something you should know about. Woo network offers centralized (WOO X) and decentralized exchange, and at the time of writing, it offers no fees for spot and futures market trading.
We talked about WOO-Network a while back when it was not known to retail users. In recent times, they have pivoted a lot to start offering their services to retail users along with institutional users.
At the time of writing, WOO X exchange lets you enjoy No-fees crypto trading on spot as well as in the futures market. WOO exchange offers all bells and whistles you expect from a top-tier exchange, and it is loved by professional traders for its advanced trading tool.
WOO exchange offers some of these cutting edge features for free:
- Price ladder
- Order entry for pros
- Cross-collateralization
- Manage and trade all of your spot and futures positions in one place.
3. MEXC – 0% Spot Maker & Taker Fees
- Status – Live
- Supported market – 0% on the Spot market, 0% for Makers in the Futures Market
MEXC was established in 2018 and as per the website, they have served over 10 Million+ users. MEXC is well known for listing new projects which are becoming popular on decentralized exchanges but are not listed on any other centralized exchanges.
At the time of writing, MEXC offers feeless crypto trading on the spot market for all of its pairs. Also, in the MEXC futures market, if you are a maker, you will enjoy the Zero fees policy. You can learn more about MEXC in our review here.
MEXC offers some amazing features such as :
- Get a joining bonus of up to $1000
- Lowest rate in the market
- Supports multiple languages
- Buy/Sell Crypto with Fiat (Bank account, Credit/Debit card, and more)
- Mobile apps
One of my biggest complaints with MEXC is, none of the 3rd party trading tools supports MEXC, which makes it really hard for serious traders to trade on MEXC. I hope they integrate with popular 3rd party trading tools.
Other No-Fees Crypto Exchanges –
Big volume exchanges like Binance and Bybit do run promos once in a while for zero fees trading on various markets. At the time of compiling this collection of Zero fees exchanges, there are no such promos running right now.
However, you should subscribe to our Telegram @CoinSutra to get notified whenever there are any new promos from any of the reliable crypto exchanges.
Often small and new crypto exchanges do offer near Zero fees trading, but we don’t recommend them just because of no trading fees, as new crypto exchanges which are not reviewed by reputed publications like CoinSutra, could result in total loss due to exit scams, bad management or lack of institutional-grade security of that exchange.
I will keep you posted about new findings. However, if you know of such platforms, let us know by commenting below or emailing us to [email protected]
