TCU vs. Texas Tech is a big game, as both teams fight to reach six wins and bowl eligibility. Texas Tech, at 3-5 on the season, is a spread favorite, and with a point total at , it should be a high-scoring affair that comes down to the wire. The Big 12 game on FS1 kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The point total for Wake Forest vs. Duke is not nearly as high, sitting at . Duke opened as a double-digit favorite and is now offered at . The Blue Devils, already at five wins, are in good position to make a bowl game.

Wake Forest is at 4-4 and needs this win, as all four teams left on their schedule are at or above .500. The ACC matchup hosted by Duke kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

TCU vs. Texas Tech live odds

Here are the live odds for TCU vs. Texas Tech from top-rated sports betting sites.

TCU Horned Frogs betting news

The Horned Frogs are not having the year many expected them to after playing for the National Championship last season. The team has been up and down all year, and it’s hard to predict which version of the team will come to play.

The best insight we have is that TCU beat BYU 44-11 two weeks ago, and Texas Tech lost to BYU last week 27-14. Every game is different, but it is hard to imagine the Horned Frogs losing to a team that lost to the BYU team they beat by over 30 two weeks ago.

Texas Tech Red Raiders betting news

Texas Tech had a rough start to the season, losing to Wyoming and Oregon before winning their first game against an FCS opponent. Over the last four weeks, the Red Raiders are 2-2 but have lost their last two games in which they were the favorite.

Texas Tech is the odds favorite over TCU because of their home-field advantage, but it may not be as good as they want after their performance the last two weeks.

TCU vs. Texas Tech prediction: Horned Frogs steal one on the road

While this Big-12 matchup is likely to be a shootout, TCU’s defense is a little tougher, and getting a few key stops in the second half could be the difference in this game. If this were a neutral site game, the spread would likely be in the Horned Frog’s favor.

With Texas Tech 3-5 on the year, the crowd will play less of a factor into a mid-week night game than it would if the Red Raiders were fighting for the Big-12 Championship. That, along with a few key defensive stops, should give TCU enough of an edge to win this one on the road.

Wake Forest vs. Duke live odds

Wake Forest Demon Deacons betting news

Wake Forest is not having the season it hoped for and has only won one ACC game. The Demon Deacons beat all three non-conference opponents, where they were heavy odds favorites. Unfortunately, they have only covered once in their last three games.

Duke Blue Devils betting news

Will Riley Leonard play for the Blue Devils on Thursday?

The star quarterback has gotten pulled early in Duke’s last two games and has not played his best since injuring his ankle against Notre Dame. The good news is that only after Duke has gotten down has Leonard come out, and it was more likely to protect their star QB, not because he reaggravated the injury.

It has been a full month since Leonard suffered his high ankle sprain, and Duke needs him to get back to the play that helped lead the Blue Devils to a big early season win over Clemson. Duke has lost three in a row and has not covered in their last two games.

Wake Forest vs. Duke prediction: Duke wins battle of the Devils

After losing two straight, this should be a get-right game for Duke. Regardless of how much Riley Leonard plays, Duke should be able to get its offense going against Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons have allowed an average of 29.3 points per game over their last three ACC games.

Stay aware of the pregame reports, though. If Leonard doesn’t play, we still like Duke to win but not cover a double-digit spread. If news were to break that Leonard is not playing, it could drop the line.

Unless it gets below seven, we don’t like the Blue Devils to cover. With Leonard, Duke could cover a double-digit spread.
