Texas Tech to Invest $200 Million in Football Program, Stadium Improvements

Texas Tech University introduced on Monday that it plans to invest $200 million into the Pink Raiders soccer plan – its major expenditure to date – that will include a new south conclude zone making at Jones AT&T Stadium that will connect the new Dustin R. Womble Football Middle.

The project is pending acceptance from the Texas Tech College Method Board of Regents at its upcoming assembly on Aug. 11-12 and will be funded via non-public fundraising and annual athletics division profits streams.

Groundbreaking is prepared for promptly after the 2022 football campaign finishes, and must be done prior to the 2024 year commences.
