It’s been ranked as a “high” risk issue.

Google doesn’t go into the specifics to prevent any hackers from using the information.

The firm only said it was a “Type Confusion in V8”.

This is fairly routine, to give people enough time to install the latest update.

“Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix,” Google said.

“We will also retain restrictions if the bug exists in a third party library that other projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed.”

According to The Register, the flaw could result in your device being hijacked.

An update will be rolled out over the coming days and weeks.

So be sure to install it as soon as it becomes available.
