Clemson baseball score vs. Virginia Tech: Live ACC Tournament updates

Clemson enters the 2023 ACC Baseball Tournament playing its best baseball in years.

The Tigers (39-17) will carry a 12-game winning streak into their tournament opener against Virginia Tech (30-22) on Wednesday evening (7 p.m., ACC Network). Clemson is seeded third while the Hokies are the No. 10 seed in the event, which is being held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina.

The tournament includes the ACC’s top 12 teams. The teams are divided into four pools with each team playing the other two members of their pool; the winner of each pool will advance to Saturday’s semifinals.

Virginia Tech lost its tournament opener against No. 6 seed Boston College, 11-7, on Tuesday, so Clemson’s game against Boston College on Friday morning will determine which team from Pool C advances to the semifinals.

Clemson freshman Cam Cannarella (10) bats against University of North Carolina during the bottom of the first inning at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson Saturday, May 20, 2023.
