AnTuTu: Top 10 best-performing Android phones for February 2023

Popular mobile phone benchmarking app AnTuTu has released the top 10 best-performing Android phones for the month of February 2023.

As expected, Qualcomm triumphs in the global top 10 best-performing Android flagships for February 2023. Its latest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, is proven to be the most powerful mobile chipset in the market today as it managed to take the top 7 spots on the list.

At number one, we have the new nubia Red Magic 8 Pro Plus garnering the highest score of 1,304,235. This gaming smartphone boasts 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It landed in the Philippines with the name Red Magic 8 Pro Void featuring a fast display and an RGB cooling fan.

It’s followed by the vivo X90 Pro+ (1,280,652), which also has an advanced camera system thanks to ZEISS. We then have the iQOO 11 (1,271,052) at number three and the Galaxy trio: S23 Ultra (1,255,441), S23 Plus (1,223,018), and the S23 (1,198,962).

The last Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device on the list takes the seventh spot, the OnePlus 11, with a score of 1,150,541.

MediaTek’s flagship chip only managed to put one device on the list. The ROG Phone 6D with a Dimensity 9000+ CPU is at number 8 with a score of 1,086,117, beating the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-powered devices: Xiaomi 12T Pro (1,074,067) and Redmi K50 Ultra (1,060,498). We shall see the newly-announced Xiaomi 13 series on the next rankings.

It may have fell short in the flagships list, but MediaTek dominated the global top 10 best-performing sub-flagship phones for February 2022. We have the iQOO Neo 7 at number one with a score of 854,527, all thanks to the Dimensity 8200.

We also have the Dimensity 8100 Ultra bringing the Xiaomi Mi 12T (819,293) and realme GT Neo 3 (810,845) at the second and third spots, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Dimensity 8100 managed to put the POCO X4 GT (803,250), Redmi K50i (783,552), and the Redmi Note 11T Pro (757,623) in the fourth, fifth, and seventh spots, respectively.

The OnePlus 10R 5G is the only OnePlus and Dimensity 8100 Max-powered device on the list with a score of 777,614. Still, Qualcomm managed to occupy the bottom 3 spots on the list thanks to the Snapdragon 870. From numbers 8 to 10, we have the realme GT Neo 2 (729,746), iQOO Neo 6 (722,201), and the realme GT Neo 3T (710,040).

Now we head to the most interesting one: the top-performing midrange phones for February 2023. The list is for China, however, almost all of the devices on this list are available everywhere.

As you can see, Qualcomm dominated this list thanks to the new Snapdragon 778G+ and Snapdragon 778G processors. MediaTek managed to take the 10th spot thanks to the Dimensity 1080 found on the realme 10 Pro Plus 5G.

For the top spot, we have one of the most talked-about phones of the past year, the Nothing Phone 1. This Snapdragon 778G+ device got a score of 567,387.

It’s followed by the realme GT Master (544,652), POCO X5 Pro (543,048), realme Q3s (539,061), Mi 11 Lite (544,034), Mi 12 Lite (530,431), Mi 11 Lite 5G NE (526,358), and two from Samsung: Galaxy A73 5G (521,277) and Galaxy A52s 5G (515,967).
