FLINT, MI – Auto service students at Mott Community College can repair your vehicle for just $10 a day.
A stark contrast from the prices you might see at a different auto repair shop, vehicles that are inspected, diagnosed and repaired at the Mott Community College Automotive Department just charges the daily rate and the cost of any parts installed.
While students are performing the service, all repairs are inspected by ASE Certified Instructors, according to a news release from the college.
The auto service program can accommodate most vehicles between 2013 and 2023, giving students an opportunity for hands-on experience.
It is a service that shut down during the pandemic and is now back up and running. Service will begin on Feb. 13.
“We’re very excited to get back to ‘normal’ operations,” said Madonna Jackson, dean of the Technology Division. “… This service can be used by anyone in the community and when students have access to this type of affordable, wrap-around support it really does help with the completion of their academic goals.”
Interested parties can schedule an auto service appointment by emailing [email protected] or calling 810-762-0575.
